Valley Preserves

  • An ode to the bounty of Willamette Valley harvest, Valley Preserves is a refreshing and jammy sour ale intended to capture the essence of fruit preserves. Beginning its life as two different blonde beers, part of the blend was aged on biodynamically grown blueberries from our neighbors at King Estate before being blended with beer that had been conditioned on whole Oregon cherries from Hood River and aged for over two years in our cellar. The resulting vibrant magenta liquid explodes with luscious fruit character that is balanced against a firm, oak-induced, tannin structure and a crisp, dry finish. We hope it invokes images for you of fresh berries, stained fingertips, and soul-warming sunshine.
