Come join us at Upright Brewing for a panel on sour and wild ales (Matt will be one of the speakers)! Learn about the production of sour and wild ales and taste examples from the masters! This seminar serves as an educational and tasting experience on how to make and taste sour and wild ales. From brettanamyoces, spontaneous fermentation, lactobacillus bacteria to kettle souring, we cover a variety of production methods and sub-styles while tasting world class and rare examples of these beers from the experts. Seminar lasts approximately 2 hours and you will taste 2-3 wild ales from each brewer.
You will sample beers from each of the panelists: Chad Yakobsen (Crooked Stave), Christian de Benedetti (Wolves & People), Alex Ganum (Upright brewing), Matt van Wyk (Alesong Brewing & Blending and formerly Oakshire) and Ben Edmunds (Breakside Brewery).
