Come celebrate our second round of bottles to be released! We’ve got a great lineup for the season, featuring some beers that really go well with the colder fall weather. As we did last time, there will be blog posts about each beer with more details, but to give a quick preview of what’s coming, we have a couple of big beers that pair well with cold weather, a champagne-like saison conditioned with Muscat juice for all your holiday cheersing, and a tart wild ale re-fermented on fresh peaches because, well, nature says peaches are freshest in late summer and that translated to a November beer release :-)
Sadly our new country tasting room isn’t quite ready to go yet, so the event will again be at our brewery in West Eugene. The good news though, is that we are offering a money-back guarantee that it won’t be 104⁰ this time around! We will be pouring the four new beers plus a handful of other interesting surprises (8 total beers) and have teamed up with a guest chef to create some incredible food pairings for each of the new beers being released in bottles:
Saison du Vin (saison conditioned with Muscat juice) + smoked fruit and pea shoot salad
Four Brothers (Belgian-style quad) + pork and duck rillettes on spent grain crostini with pickled fruit
Rhino Suit (bourbon barrel-aged imperial milk stout) + cocoa braised lamb shoulder with polenta
Shake Your Tree (wild ale with peaches) + squash tart with Earl Grey whipped cream
If you’re anything like me, it makes you hungry just reading that menu, so make sure you get the date on your calendar! And if you’re not already on our mailing list for bottle sales, do it now because those allocations go out this week and pre-purchasers will again get free entry to the event!
