Alesong to Host Pop-up Kitchen with Chef Andrew Hroza of Domek

Eugene’s Alesong Brewing & Blending is pleased to announce it has partnered with Chef Andrew Hroza to host a two-month long, pop-up preview of his new restaurant, Domek, an Eastern-European bistro with Pacific Northwest perspectives (coming later this year). Domek’s featured offerings at Alesong begin today and will include elevated Northwest spins on Lángos, a classic Hungarian street food, among other seasonally inspired menu items that utilize the highest quality local ingredients, in alignment with Alesong’s values.

“When Chef Andrew reached out about hosting a pop-up for his new restaurant at Alesong, we jumped at the opportunity,” says co-founder Doug Coombs. “His credentials speak volumes, his food is delicious, and this pop-up offers something new and exciting for our customers.”

Chef Hroza has led acclaimed beer-centric brewpubs including Warpigs in Copenhagen, and most recently, Ninkasi’s Better Living Room in Eugene. Select Alesong kitchen staples like the seasonal burger and country potatoes will continue alongside Domek’s offerings for the duration of the pop-up.

“Alesong is the perfect place to debut some of my new restaurant’s offerings! The idyllic country setting coupled with their focus on quality aligns well with my vision for Domek, says Hroza of the arrangement.  “As we await construction on our new location, having the chance to share Domek’s food with the community, making them an active part of our evolution is really exciting; Eugene is a tight-knit place and I want everyone along for the ride!”

Domek at Alesong officially launches April 18, with service during Alesong’s normal Thursday through Sunday, 12-6pm kitchen schedule. More information on Alesong’s menu and tasting room operations can be found at www.alesongbrewing.com/visit
